COVID-19 Notice: We’re still installing & repairing boilers, safely
Eligible property owners in England and Wales can receive support towards the cost of replacing an existing heating system with a qualifying heat pump.
NCS is an MCS-certified renewable heating installer. Therefore, our team can assess your property, prepare the system design and manage the grant application on your behalf.
The Boiler Upgrade Scheme provides upfront grants towards qualifying low-carbon heating installations in England and Wales.
For most eligible air-to-water heat pump installations, the grant is £7,500. In addition, eligible off-gas-grid properties heated by oil or LPG may receive £9,000 until 31 March 2027.
The scheme is installer-led. This means an MCS-certified installer applies for and redeems the voucher on behalf of the property owner.

The system is installed, tested and commissioned by our specialist team.
A valid EPC number may be used as part of the grant application. However, outstanding loft or cavity-wall insulation recommendations do not automatically prevent a property from receiving the grant.
Even so, insulation can reduce heat loss and improve heat pump performance. Therefore, it may still be worth addressing suitable efficiency measures before or alongside the installation.
Where appropriate, we can help arrange insulation improvements, review heating emitters and support the information needed for the heat pump proposal and grant process.
We combine renewable-heating expertise with decades of plumbing and heating experience across Hertfordshire and the South East.
