Win a Free Boiler Service or a £40 Gift Card

These terms and conditions are the governing document for the competition, and in case of any discrepancies, will prevail over any other communications, including promotional materials and advertising.

• Organiser details: The competition is being organised by NCS Plumbing & Heating (JSC Consultancy trading as NCS), whose registered office is located at 30-32 Chambers Street, Hertford, SG14 1PL.
• Prize details: This competition offers a first place and second place prize. The first place prize is for a free boiler service to the value of £234.00 inc. VAT for an oil boiler or £108.00 inc. VAT for a gas or LPG boiler. The second place prize is for a £40.00 gift card, with a choice of retailers upon entry submission. 
• Entrant validity: The competition is open to UK residents aged 18 years or older who have had previous works carried out by NCS. Proof of previous work may be required.
• Entry instructions: All entrants must provide their contact details and upload a screenshot, scan or image of their live Google review on the ‘NCS Plumbing & Heating Specialists T/A NCS Property Maintenance’ business profile. Google Reviews can be left on this profile by using this link when signed into a Google account: https://reviewthis.biz/ncspm  
• Transferability: Each prize is non-transferable, non-refundable, and cannot be exchanged for cash. NCS reserves the right to substitute the prize with an item of equal or greater value if necessary.
• Number of entries: Only one entry per job carried out by NCS will be accepted. For example, if an entrant has had a boiler installation and a boiler service carried out by NCS, they will be eligible for two entries.
• Winner selection & notification: Winners will be chosen by a computerised random number generator (RNG) and notified by email after the draw has taken place. The first place winner will be the first entrant chosen by the RNG, and the second place winner be the second entrant chosen by the RNG.
• Prize acceptance: The winner must claim the prize within 7 days by responding to the notification email. NCS reserves the right to withdraw the prize if the winner fails to claim it within the timeframe. NCS is not responsible for inaccurate information provided by the entrant, which may affect prize acceptance or delivery.
• Prize redemption: The voucher for a free boiler service will be sent via post and redeemable when the boiler service is due, for example one year after a boiler installation, or 1 year after the entrant’s last boiler service. The £40.00 gift card will be sent via post within 14 working days and will be redeemable at the specified retailer chosen by the winning competition entrant within their entry form.
• Publicity: By entering the competition, the winner consents to have their first name and Google review used for publicity in all media for marketing purposes, including but not limited to social media posts, website content, print, and digital ads, in perpetuity.
• Entrance validity: Any entries deemed to be dangerous, vulgar, offensive, indecent, illegal, racist, copied, offensive, cruel or fraudulent, or infringe on the rights or copyright of others will be immediately disqualified from the competition. This does not replace the terms & conditions of Google’s Maps User Contributed Content Policy document, or impinge upon your right to free speech under UK law.
• Force majeure: NCS reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice due to force majeure events or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation, or any other event outside of NCS’s control.
• This competition is an independent promotion and is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Google, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, or any other platform on which this competition is shared. Any references to these platforms are solely for informational purposes.

Third party terms and conditions may apply to certain components of the prize. For instance, if the prize includes a gift voucher from a third-party retailer, entrants must comply with both the terms and conditions of the contest and any terms and conditions that apply to the retailer’s gift vouchers.

Entry into the competition will be deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions, and all entrants are advised to read them carefully before entering.
